Wal-Mart Retail Chain
![]()
Wal-Mart is the world’s largest retailer and second largest corporation. Founded by Sam Walton in 1962, Wal-Mart has spread faster than an outbreak of herpies on a pirate ship full of nymphomaniacs and now engulfs nearly all of America and has branched out to many other foreign countries. Wal-Mart specializes in low prices which it attains through the sale of many low quality products and a work force that borders on slave labor. Wal-Mart has been widely criticized for its policies and business practices by community groups, grassroots organizations, labor unions, religious organizations, pong fanatics, and environmental groups. Specific concerns include the corporation's extensive foreign product sourcing, treatment of employees and product suppliers, environmental practices, the use of public subsidies, and the economic impact of stores on the communities in which they operate.
