Slobodan Molosevic
Serb and Yugoslavia President

Slobodan Milosevic served as the President of Serbia from 1989 until 1997 and as President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1997 to 2000. He also led the Socialist Party of Serbia from its foundation in 1990. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia charged Milosevic with crimes against humanity, violating the laws or customs of war, grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions and genocide for his role during the wars in Croatia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, though his trial was never completed due to Milosevic dieing from a heart attack.

He wasn't the only war criminal in the Balkans, you know. I'm not denying his crimes, but I think it's a bit silly when sources blame every death in Yugoslavia between 1992-6 on him. The Croat leader Franjo Tudjman was also indicted for war crimes, but he died before being brought to trial.nem

Factoid: The Slobodan was a Paleolithic dinosaur that never cleaned its nest and existed primarily on stoking hate and fear thereby herding Serbs into its kill zone.
