Quite possibly the most amazing rock band the world has ever seen. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr defined what pop music meant during their time as The Beatles from 1963 to 1970. They started out strong by holding the top five spots on the singles chart and the top two spots on the album chart all at the same time, a feat that was not matched berfore and will probably never be matched again. Their songwriting became stronger and stronger and eventually began to include melodies, techniques, and instruments that have never been used in pop or rock music before. Great songs, great music - may it be sung and enjoyed forever. But the lads were pied pipers of wicked foolishness. Drugs, selfishness, sexual license, scorn of tradition and family ties. Lennon was the most evil, what with "imagine no countries" and the rest of the claptrap. McCartney and his veggie idiocy a close second. Harrison's Hare Krishna lunacy lead many an innocent into hell. Ringo alone may be ranked "Good"
