Adolf Hitler ruled over Germany and the Nazi party from 1934 until his self-inflicted death in 1945. Hitler gained power in a Germany facing crisis after World War I, using charismatic oratory and propaganda, appealing to economic need of the lower and middle classes, nationalism, anti-Semitism and anti-communism to establish a totalitarian or fascist dictatorship. Hitler pursued an aggressive military campaign across Europe and at the height of its power, Nazi Germany occupied most of Europe. During this time, Hitler’s racial policies had culminated in the murder of at least eleven million people, including the deliberate genocide of about six million Jews. Today, the practice of taking a smear of poop and indiscriminately making a small mustache on a person’s face in the style of Hitler’s mustache is known as "The Hitler".

Furthermore Hitler's government was largely unorganised and poorly run. On another point the German warmachine was outdone by the russians almost single handedly and the US could have finshed Germany off by themselves.
